Lol, I accept and welcome the criticism. I have no idea what I am doing with it.

So far I have been buying equipment waiting for this build. To date this is what I have collected.

480 pounds of Tropic Eden Reef flakes aragonite sand

Tunze doc 9430 D.C.

Vortech M-1 (however I may return for L-1) have not decided yet.

2 medium Avast spy glass reactors without pumps

2 xf 250 maxspects gyre pumps with just one controller

1 back up battery vortech , I will get one more soon

3 hydra 52's with mounts

250 pound or so dried live rock, assortment of tonga branches, tonga shelfs, Fiji base rock, Punjabi base rock, however I bought to much.

I still need refugium light which I will get the kessile 380 and mount once I get other things in place. I probably get the esshope 2 part dousing pump like I have on the Red Sea 250, it has performed well.

Yes I have been very happy with all my AI lights. Some say that they are not the best, but I think they are for my reef keeping experience. I have seen growth out of lps, sps, and softies. I use one of their signature series program (found on their website, I use the Canadian recipe)on the prime and 52's that (I modified the times of operation) seems to make my corals happy. I like AI's customer service as well, one of the power supply for the 52 went bad after a few months of operation, and they overnighted a replacement free of charge. I would indeed recommend their products...

That's very good to know I have been looking at AI lights for my build. I know they have joined forces with Ecotech Marine as well so I really think they are probably or just the same as radions possibly.. thank you for your input ! [emoji41]

Oops, you are correct. Thank you, I only have 8 bags @30 pounds, so please correct to 240 pounds of the tropic eden. I apologize, as you can see now, simple math I struggle with. However, I did manage to get tank on stand today...

It appears what I thought would be a endless room of space filled up quickly with the Tunze, and spyglass, not sure if I will be using the second one now. I also not sure why the refuge Is before skimmer section. Also in order to slide the ato tank forward for pump maintenance the tunze skimmer cup has to be removed and the spyglass. Don't think that will be a huge issue for me.

I found this YouTube video for alternative for filter sock hassle. This guy is in Australia and very nice and helpful. I contacted him via faceboook messenger and he made me 4 of them for 160 plus 40 shipping. So I know I could have bought a lot of socks for 200 dollars but then I wanted something different. Once I get them I will update my findings.

I can't wait to see how this filtersock sution works. You can buy large boxes of polyester fluff for very little money and change it out every day after your last feeding. Great idea .

Yes, I am looking forward to see if it works, like I said I could have bought 20 Red Sea 225 for the price I paid for these however, not hearing my wife complain about making a mess cleaning filter socks in bleach or her washing machine, well I think it is money well spent. Lol

Yes your sandbed looks nice. I put 6 30 pound in mine.

Yes, I know, but even the sand bag recommends 4 to 6 inch bed. I am a little over 3 now, but wanted to wait to add any more of it. TX punisher, you never said where in texas you live, I am from league city.
