Found a person selling a 650 that sprung a leak on the front bottom. My idea to fix would be to pull the front panel, reseal, then euro brace the top and bottom? Opinions? For or agains?

No need for braces at the bottom of the aquarium. Btw getting off a large panel isn’t easy peasy. A front panel reset and a whole aquarium reseal it probably best . It’s some work and time .

I was thinking bottom also, as that is where the problem was. If I went through the time and effort, I sure as heck want it solid.

I looked up the aquarium dimensions and that’s a big aquarium. @59” long you can still get away with 2 lights and have great coverage. Once an aquarium goes past 60” long it will require 3 lights to cover it properly. 165 gallons is a good size !

I would buy it for a lizard, but not for holding water.

Thanks for all the input. Think I’ll take the advice and pass. Lot of work. If it’s t has a problem on 1 seam, could need all done.

I agree but would of been nice with the correct silicone !

I’m not a huge fan of rimless anyway, been kicking the idea around of a planet eclipse 235. I have a 4’ 120 now. Really like the 6’ and 30” wide look.

here is an idea, and it's just that proceed with cation as my ideas are not always good ones :)

get the 625 and use the glass to build a plywood tank. is it work it? IDK it is crazy probably but there are a lot of folk in the FW side doing just that.
