i have a 13.5g with 3 small frags of zoas: rasta, white zombie, exosphere, along with 3 small rhodactus mushrooms.
i have both red sea AB+ and phytoplankton.
what should my dosing and/or spot feeding schedule look like for optimal growth/color?
additionally, optional to answer x),i have a nicrew 50. i’m also supporting small frags of torch and hammer. is there an optimal mix of lighting (white, blue) for all of my coral?, i have mostly blues.
is there anything else i need?
thanks :)sorry for the long questions
yes the torch was moved!

Both. Ab+ will help phyto grow but it will need to be added occasionally.

Take a big jar and a little bit of live phyto and sit it in the window with indirect sunlight.
No reason to pay for phyto twice

Whaaaat? This is how you grow phyto? If so, you just changed my life forever :astonished-face:

So you just add some more saltwater to the half empty jar and let it sit?

I've grown it without inoculation and just tank water plus sun. Getting a specific species such as Nannochloropsis should grow just the same although I'd add F2 formula to feed it.

More or less

I would use plastic lids with very small holes to reduce evaporation

They also make injection port lids with biological filters for mycology

Got it thanks.
Then how long do you wait before you repeat the process?
