I just recently bought a red sea alk test refill because my orginal/first ever bottle was running low. When I used it today, the color was more yellowish than red. This also affected my alk reading as it was near 10dkh when just last week it was 7 with the original test. Can anyone help?
Thanks and happy Reefing

If you mean the final color was a yellowish then that it correct. It changes to a solid greenish color and then if you go over it turns gold. This is their current liquid they use

The final color and the bottle is yellow. Before the final color was deep red. Was there an update to red sea in the last 2ish years?
Here is the instructions for the old tests. It's a little dirty.
And here is the new refill I bought.
