I just started using this test kit and am unsure as to what the endpoint of the titration should look like. The instructions just state that when the sample turns red, the titration is complete. Well, there are evidently various degrees of red once you get to/near the endpoint. Once the blue coloration of the sample disappears, I am left with a brownish-red sample. Is this the endpoint? Or, is it reached after adding more of the titrant until the sample turns candy apple red (like the titrant itself is colored)?

Thanks!
