Red Sea? Any good?

Hi, I’m looking to buy new tests kits for my salt water tank. Is RedSea Markne Care Test Kit any good? Im also getting a calcium test kit from Salifert, I’ve heard good things from them, but also wanted to make sure.

Redsea and Salifert both make great test kits.

Red Sea test kits are good, but I still prefer Salifert. Reading them is a bit easier in my opinion, especially ALK which seems to change color more sharply than Red Sea.

In my experience I found Red Sea test kits overly complicated to use. Calcium and Mg one I kept getting same results, meaning I was unable to read the colour shift.

Out of the Marine Care set I think the KH to be the most useful.

For Alk titration test I prefer to use Fauna Marin AquaHome Test KH kit. It has finer range and easy to spot colour shift.

Just a suggestion/ opinion in the long run the only useful kits are KH, PO4 and long distant is NO3. These three I would spend $$$ on. NO2 might be fun to experiment with once in a while.
The rest will collect dust but that is just my opinion.
