Red Sea Berlin protein skimmer please help!!!

No air stone required. The Venturi white dial sets the passive air intake. Only needed a submersible pump in my sump.
Like I said I have had it for 20yrs. I did tweak the configuration of the outflow tubing back into my sump a little because it was kind of loud.
And make sure to shut it off if you use any kind of slime coat! It will bubble over like soap.
It pulls out a huge amount of waste.
It can be a little bit if work to take apart and rinse weekly, but I imagine every style is.
I’ll post a pic.
I’d be surprised if anything pulled more waste out for a given week.
I did deep clean it once about a year ago, with vinegar and it cleaned up great!
You can even suck a small cup of hot water into the air intake if it seems clogging, as long as you have nothing of life in your sump where the hot water would return. Turning off the return to your main tank of course.

Hey there, I have this exact skimmer, I can help you set it up. Won’t be hard. It works well! Especially for being free.
I found this page as I was looking for another pump as mine finally wore out and I couldn’t remember the gph for this unit. 300-500 I see.
Mine is so old the label wore off.
But yes I’ve had this skimmer for almost 20yrs.
