Red Sea C-130 Skimmer Adjustment????

I cannot for the life of me get this skimmer tuned in....
I have the left door all the way down, as i understand it that puts the water level at the lowest position correct?
I have been playing with the air inlet valve a lot. If I allow any air in the water level in the cup inner tube raises to the brim (inside the cup).
If I close the valve the water level lowers.

Also... for the ATO
i have that in the last chamber and the sensor is below the return outlet (height of the return outlet inside the tank)
Should i lower that more? the way I am thinking, maybe I should have less water flowing through the filter chambers?

I'm real sorry.

The skimmer's in the ole 130's or 130-d's were not that good.

The ole Tunze 9002 was a waste of money too... :mad:

Seems like I kept the water level pretty high, but it was long ago.
Ran the Tunze 3155 ATO, and it was great.

Sorry about the above post.

Red Sea worked out the skimmer for the C-130.

If you just got it up and running it may take time for that skimmer to build up a slim coat, and then it should be able to dial in.

Never owned it, so I don't know about the adjustments on the C 130 0r C 250 skimmers.

The C-Series came out right before the Reefer's were released.

Thanks, i can see some slime build up but the water level is inside the neck... so once i open the valve or remove it completely like others have mentioned the water just fills immediately. Not sure with water level that high even with sludge how it will start bubbling.
