Red Sea carbon amount

Hey, just wondering if a 100g bag of Red Sea carbon is too much for a 24g tank.

The directions that comes with the bottle say 50gr per 50 gallon for general purpose.

Just wondering, would using the whole thing be a problem?

I don't think it would be a problem. There's a whole discussion related to carbon and lateral line disease mainly in tangs. That might be a concern at such a high level depending on your livestock.
