Red Sea coral pro salt

asking about the quality/opinion of any salt is bound to open a can of worms and get very different opinions.

That being said, I love RSCP and it is all i use in my tanks(120&27).

Have you used the search function, this topic has been covered many times, even a few very recently.

I use it in both my tanks, I love it! It mixes well and with frequent changes I don't at this time have to dose my tanks. Good stuff.

Good stuff but it's better suited for people who like to have an alk of 11-12 in their reef.high concentration of ca as well.i believe it was 480 ppm at 1.025

By far the best salt mix I have used. IMO this is the key to a successful reef startup and will help you achieve your target parameters in half the time compared to other salts. If mixed to a 1.026 specific gravity, the parameters are always stable and make a perfect balance of calcium, alk, and magnesium for sps.

I used to really like this salt, but the ALK is so high to do any large water change. I started my newest tank with Tropic Marin Pro Reef and I should have stuck with it. That's my opinion any way.

Red sea coral pro for weekly to biweekly, esv for bi monthly to half annually, awesome salt just dont like the fact you cant really mix it and have it sit for more then 6 hours

Lolol i have 3 different tanks and all of them arent plumbed together nd 2 giant 100 gallon containers in my garadge to fill wit rodi water , my 200 i have an auto waterchange system i used with return pumps and advanced setting for every 2nd week i have my sump emptyd and refilled, so i have to mix the salt in the morning nd somtimes like to forget lol

I use the apex with float switches nd its too far for me to run a backup float switch into my container so ive ran my pump dry a couple times
