Hello ALL
Please tell me HOW MANY CUPS OF SALT should I put in a 5g bucket of RO to get the results claimed on the package. I’m sure there’s a thread.

you should be using a refractometer to measure out your salinity, not going by amount of salt mixed in. I think I generally use around 2.5 cups in a 5g bucket though.

Agreed. I think they have that in the book or whatever comes with the package. It’s 1 cup for 2 gallons of freshwater. Of course refractometer is the final check.

Everything I've seen suggest just under 1/2 cup per gallon. I've tried it and it seem to work fine
