Red Sea coral pro salt

I’ve been using this salt since day one. Is there a cheaper salt that I can use that is good quality. I e seen some threads but not specifically Red Sea pro. Anyone use it or something similar that can give advice on cheaper alternative?

I use hw- marine reefer it is about 65 bucks for 160 gallon box brs recommended made from pharmaceutical grade materials

I like to mix the two salts together 50/50 for water change or two before going 100% over.

I would just do it kind of slowly I think as the help with the different parameters different salts contain different parameters are going to want to test a lot I would imagine and just kind of do it slowly to acclimate tank just like you. Acclimate fish to a tank

All depends what you want in terms of alk, ca and mg levels, which are elevated in RSCP.

If you change go slow mixing new salt with RSCP

One thing to consider is Red Sea Coral Pro has high alk most other salts do not which would cause a large alk swing I would recommend lowering alk slowly by not dosing before switching over

Looks like some good stuff. Germans products always seem superior. I'll have to check it out after I finish this bucket of Red Sea Pro.

I started with that reef crystal stuff very inexpensive can't remember the name for some reason it may be the name i wrote above i don't think so though. Anywho as soon as I switched i never went back nothing but success with hw marine. I feel you b would be very happy using.

Red Sea is best.... you can even check your batch content by serial number. Depends on what you are trying to do. it is from the red sea.......
