I bought a red sea nitrate test kit. My nitrates are over 4 ppm, which means (per directions) I need to dilute my test water with RO water. The problem is the only extra water I have (from the LFS) is freshwater that I used to top off the tank. Can I use freshwater RO water as the dilution water?
