Red sea dosing

Hi, i have question regarding red sea alk liquid. I have been using this rs alk for months already by diluting it wit ro h2o. now im going to use it with a doser do i need to add ro h2o in my container? I tried dosing it with out diluting it but it seems to condense(turned to white flakes) right away. I dont know if im doing it right or what should i do. Thanks

Is there a reason why your diluting the solution, I thought you were supposed to dose it as it is, that’s why it’s in solution?

I use the powders which are mixed with RODI water, and the alkalinity does mix to a milky consistency which then leaves some white sediment. The powder is also a much more cost effective way of using it

Well i tired dosing the alk liquid directly but once it hits the saltwater it turns to like solid crumbs like white flake. When i dilute it with ro and dosed it just mix like a white cloud.

I do. I put them where my return pump chamber on an aio tank. I even tried a drop of it but once it touches a salt water it solidifies.
