Does anyone know the correct name for the downpipe to sump connector in the red sea tanks? I want to make my own plumbing and manifold but can't find the name of the connector so I can't order it online as im not sure what its classed as or even available?

I am in Sweden so keeping everything metric 32mm.

Thanks !

It would be better if you mention what model Red Sea Reefer you have since the downpipes are all different and they don't list them by diameter. See if this link helps:

Its a 250 reefer, I have the part numbers for Red sea. Im not trying to buy red sea parts I want to know if this is a generic plumbing fitting or a red sea only style or type of fitting. I dont need the down pipe etc as making my owne system.

hey how did you make out with your own system?

I ended up just making my own manifold and glued piping together it works fine with no leaks.

I used the factory bulkhead, I slid an internal pipe into the original downpipe and then slid the new 32mm red piece over that. All was PVC cement joins.
