With the AIO I used to run I'd turn the pumps off and use a baster to blow or suck or most of the heavier stuff, then take out all the water in the sump to clear all the floating crap and then perform a water change. How do you all clean the debris in the sump on the E260?
But I have the upgraded sump so I can't take out all the water in the AIO sump. With the AIO I used to run I'd turn the pumps off and use a baster to blow or suck or most of the heavier stuff, then take out all the water in the sump to clear all the floating crap and then perform a water change.
You can always scrub out and stir up as much debris as you can, then syphon it out with a hose and run it back through a filter sock (I use a Sicce Zero and Python for this on mine). But I have the upgraded sump so I can't take out all the water in the AIO sump.
I don't have upgrade, and I am not sure where you are trying to clean, but for my standard E260 I use this. It's made from PEX tubing which you can get at Home Depot or Lowe's, cut long enough to get to the bottom of the AIO reservoir . The white PEX tubing is narrow enough to get by obstacles like the pump return tubing, and can get into the narrow crevices around the pumps. How do you all clean the debris in the sump on the E260?
