So I am trying to use the Red Sea line exclusively. I have always had good luck with it on my smaller systems, but not that I am in a larger system mixing the Foundation Powder is not always easy. I get different results every time when it comes to the final solution...

This time my Foundation C (Magnesium) is a milky white (compared to milky pink) but once I poured it into my gallon jug it is now separated and milky white in the bottom and clear up top. Common? Alright to use?

Does anyone know if they sell premixed 1g-5g Foundation products?

Cheers,
AW

Oh, and I did send a email to Red Sea via their website. But no response and I think their form is broken anyways...

It is perhaps a contaminant of calcium sulfate, which sometimes happens when mixing magnesium sulfate and magnesium chloride (the two main ingredients of a magnisum supplement). The magnesium chloride can have some calcium. I wouldn't worry about it. Whether you dose it or not really doesn't matter.

I would shake it to make it uniform, then let it settle. :)
