The reef energy is excellent and you will see the change if you dose it daily.
+1
My corals have really picked up since I started dosing daily. :)

Just an FYI,
Your fish go crazy too when you dose Reef Energy. But (lol) they can't eat it, they just trying anything in the tank. :)

So if you got a new picky eater, then you can dose the "RE" while feeding and it may take to food faster.

The reef energy is excellent and it doesn't contain phosphates as far as I'm aware (i read it somewhere)
@SPR1968
I read that too, but I can't find it anymore.

Thanks for your guidance awhile back, to dose daily.

It's really made a difference for my corals :) and now I feel like I was starving my reef. :(

Me neither. I looked yesterday but could be anywhere as I spend hours reading, researching etc as you do.

I expect it does, and I'm not sure how one would know that anyway, without a complicated digestion test. I wouldn't just accept such an assertion without evidence.

I just started dosing the Reef energy yesterday. I'm continuing with the carbon dosing, nitrates are currently at 20 and phosphates undetectable. We shall see how it goes.

Just an fyi...
I turn off my skimmer for about 1 hour every evening when I dose the "Reef Energy". Otherwise it goes straight into my skimmer cup.
Turn it back on and check you cup in the morning. :)

It may not be necessary to turn off the skimmer but it sure does not hurt to let the RE stew around your reef with the skimmer off for awhile.

Good Luck and thanks for the update.

Yes you need to turn off the protein skimmer for at least 15-30 minutes as per instructions otherwise it will get taken out by the skimmer.

I leave mine off for about 30 minutes to an hours or so.
