Hi All,

I've just started dosing the red sea supplements A B & C.
Ive programmed the evo 4 to dose at 9am for A, 3pm for B, and 9pm for C.
I do know about dosing calc and alk apart because of possible precipitation but ive read recently to leave at least 10 mins between doses.
Am I making the dosing interval too large? or should get all elements dosed say within 1.5 hours?
also, evening or morning? and A then B then C or is there a better order?
thanks for any input..

Gary

There are different opinions on what is best.

Dosing alkalinity at night tends to offset the pH drop at night, but alk also seems to deplete more during the day so dosing alk spread through the day may lead to more stability.

I don't think it matters much when you dose calcium as it depletes pretty slowly and the exact calcium level is not that important.

As to trace elements, I am not aware of any convincing rationale of when is better to dose.
