Red Sea kh test

Hi with the Red Sea kh test you have to add 1 drop at a time and shake in between for 15 seconds which takes a while .knowing it’s going to be around 8 can you just start with 6 drops straight in and then add one at a time after, I tried it and it worked but wanted to make sure it’s reliable
