Hi everyone, i am still in my first year with this hobby and have to say i am really enjoying it. I have a 30 gallon all in one, took the stock top off, added in a Hydra 26 for a light and replaced the stock skimmer with a Tunze 9001. i am having a lot of trouble with dialing in the skimmer i think becuase of the amount of evaporation that is happening with the open top. should i get a piece of glass for the top, will it help with the amount of times i have to add water? i am starting to get some algea and it is because of not very good filtration. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have an automatic top off (ATO) installed? If not, it would help greatly with your water levels.

no I do not but I will by the end of the weekend, looking at getting the Tunze osmolator. thanks for the advice though!
