Hi
I have a RSM250 with a few bulbs that just burnt out. I tried changing the bulbs but that doesn't work...it may be the ballast.
My question is should I replace the ballast (might take a bit to get to the ballast as it is under the canopy built-in).
Or can I add a few Led light bars along with the working T5's?

I am growing a mixed tank of LPS and SPS.

Please give me your thoughts

Roadster your Max 250 sure brings back some old memories.
We used to replace the factory skimmer with the Deltec MC500 and think BattleCorals will still order that model.

Option-1
You sure could break down and replace your ballast. I'd change all of them out if you're already taking the hood apart. It's just a matter of getting the screws out.

Option-2
Contact Orphek to make sure that those OR3 90 led bars would fit.

Option-3
Go big time with Steves LEDs RSM250 led upgrade kit

+1 with going with Steves LED's. I did that when my c250 had ballasts go out. The cost of bulbs and balasts for all I figured the payback would be quick by going leds.
