Hi All.
I am interested in an all in one tank around 60 - 70 gal. size. I had my eye on a Red Sea Max C 250 or an Innovated marine SR60. Was leaning towards the red sea but just found out that they are discontinuing the Max C series. I am wondering if anyone has a MAX E 260 and can give me any feed back on it. I can't find any anywhere. The Max C250 is still available in a few place , just wondering which of the 2 would you choose the Max E or C and why. I would not use the sump conversion on the E if that was the one I would purchase. I am only looking to have maybe 6 - 8 fish and some soft corals and mushrooms. Thanks in advance

I like all in ones and the majority of the time, my all in one tank selection will be based on the equipment I want to run in it. Some of the all in ones look really sleek but the back compartments are awkward shaped or small, reducing the type of equipment you can choose to put in. Because of the reduction in possible equipment, you could be stuck with buying some expensive subpar equipment. I would first look at the equipment you want to use and then select the all in one that can accommodate that equipment.

Also, always think about future plans as well. If you think you may one day dwell in to other coral species, look at equipment for that and see whats available to each system you maybe interested in. This will save you a lot of time and money in the future if you ever plan to test new waters.

Thanks for the info on expansion and equipment I need to run. The max e has an expandable sump for future but it seems kinda small . I do like the closed canopy of the max c and everyone seem to love it at least when its reviewed . I just wish it came with LEDS.
Do you have any suggestions on other tanks besides the red sea ?
