Red sea max nano pump noise

Hello just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with there red sea max nano pump making quite a lot of noise? Anything i can do?

Noisy pumps, even from companies that usually make great, quiet pumps, can happen.

Suggestion #1 try cleaning it
Suggestion #2 contact the manufacturer

Its brand new, its not over bearing just would like it quieter.

what happens is there is a piece of plastic on top of the impeller take the thing outta the tank i know it's a pain. you'll see there is a piece that's loose take some super glue and glue it tight the sound goes away or just upgrade to the sicce .5 and move on also on that tank save yourself the hassle and just buy an auto top off that works . also if you insist on using that garbage auto top off then it's way easier if you mount it on top of the black red sea thing at the front of sump/back of tank it works better. i have the same tank and it's a great tank however i woulda done things differently and gotten the 170 anyways have fun.
