Red Sea Max Reefer 350 - New Tank

I had an RSM-134D for awhile and it started off well, but I kept battling with it and decided enough is enough. Last week my RSM Reefer 350 arrived on Thursday, so Friday I broke down the 134D and moved everyone over into the 350!

Current equipment is simply:
- ReefLED 90 (2x) - Red Sea
- Reefer RSK-300 Protein Skimmer - Red Sea

I own an Apex with a doser, but I have never dosed anything, so if anyone has any tips on dosing one of the redsea "recipes" let me know.

What were the issues with the 134D?

Being a new tank with very little life (especially sps and lps corals) you shouldn't need to dose much at all. You should do your dosing manually until you can establish a consistent usage of Ca and alk. Then start using the dosing pumps and continue to monitor levels.
