Got a Red Sea max nanno with the supplied skimmer and up until a week ago it was running good but in the last week it’s just been filling the tank with micro bubbles and I can’t see why it’s still skimming and nothing has changed any advice

Have you checked whether you have any leaks anywhere? :-) Check that everything is properly put together, that tubes are connected where they should etc.

Every thing is together properly first thing I checked but it’s a fairly basic basic internal skimmer

I know - I run three of them ;) Are you sure that the bubbles come from your skimmer? Can you share a video?

Easy to see on a picture that something is wrong. Hard to see what it is..

Possible to share a video?

Micro bubbles like these don't come out of nowhere, there will be a leak somewhere i reckon. I know you checked it all over but it's still my best bet! :-) Could it be that the seal between the pump and the skimmer body isn't quite tight?

I’ll pull it back out and check only problem with it being powered from the box is you can’t power it separately to check it

Stick it in a bucket of saltwater next to the tank, the cable should be long enough for that :-) It's a hassle, I know but worth a check!
