I'm excited to be back into the hobby, I honestly have forgotten just about everything. So, everything is just like being utterly new to the hobby. The only thing that reminds from is all the gear!

I will be looking forward to the community's feedback as guidance along the way. I walked into a reef store and was asking for prices, the owner mentioned he could sell me his old display tank for half off, and I could not resist. It seems like it was meant to be!
So, here is the Tank setup when it started.

Tank: Red Sea 34 gallon with sump started 9/24/19
Lights: EcoTech Marine Radion XR30w Gen1 and EcoTech Marine Radion XR30w Gen 2
Skimmer: ESHOPPS S-120
Thermometer: Hygger Titanium heater 200W
Pump: IceCap 1K Gyre
Maybe 15-20 lbs of rock.

We are hoping to add some fish soon.

Welcome back to the addiction

If that's an old heater from your prior reefing days I'd replace it ASAP.

Oh and dont freak out when you see the prices of anything labeled Aussie, Indo or has Gold in front of it.

November Update, let me see… I got a HOB Ref and placed it below.
I did end up buying some fans and a controller for it.
Lower the temperature from 80 down to 78.
I did manage to get a free ATO, which I think is the one thing that made the biggest difference in the overall health of the tank.

Next week I will be driving home to grab the rest of my stuff.
A Cal- Reactor and my Ecotech mp somethings… 20s- 30s 40s or 60s. I don’t think they are the big ones.
UV- Light, and other stuff. Oz ractor.

Hello,

It surely is not the old heater. The only thing I had here was the xr 30s and the ApeX; for growing CA plants. :)

Looking good. I can't agree more with having an ATO. I just got into this hobby and at one point was considering not getting one to save some $$ with the initial investment. Wow, I'm glad I decided it was necessary.
