Well 2.5 weeks into the new build and everything’s going great so far! Been out of the game for a few years but I’m back! A lot of new stuff to learn. Hoping to do a bunch of softies and Zoa’s in this guy! Will Continue to update throughout the process!

2 - Mocha Storm Clowns
1 - Sand tiger conch
3 - Scarlett hermits
1 - Emerald crab
4 - Snails

Starting slow. No skimmer. 20 pounds of sand 16 pounds of rock. Gonna rock a lot of blues on this tank. Toying with building an area for some gsp’s. Clowns are loving it. Excited to be back in the hobby! Let me know what you think! And suggestions for coral placements. What can go up top that won’t hate it?

Looks real nice! I had the max nano for a few years and loved it. I did acros up top with scolys, lps down low. It’s a great little tank. lots of options as you expand on coral.

Ya. It’s pretty fun so far. Still waiting for my first algae bloom. Thinking about a torch of big hammer on the bottom right spot to kinda fill that right hole area!

Seems like my post cycle algae has started. Tank is 5 weeks old now roughly. I’ve dropped my white likes down to 4% peak and blues sitting around 30%. The torch and hammer have been in for about 2 days and haven’t fully opened yet. Hoping they do. Duncan doing great and popping a new head. Zoas seem to like the higher up in the tank. Water doing good. No spikes. But I can’t keep any snails alive.. I’ve slow dipped 6 now and I’m down to 2. The itther 4 ended up dying within 6 hours or being in the tank. The nassareous* and tiger conch are great and most the hermits fine (lost 1). And idea on how to get the corals to open fully? And input on the snail situation..

In love with your hardscape! Well done! :star-struck: I am running three of the Max Nano's - none of my scapes are as nice as yours!

Quick update. Water chemistry is fantastic with just changes every 2 weeks or so. My Torch that wasn’t doing great is back on the mend and trying to split! Another pink tip is almost done splitting, he’s been in for about 3 weeks now and my Duncan’s second head is getting big! Zoas are doing good but only getting growth out of my WWC frag. Everything else looks great but now new growth. Woke up this morning to a Pod Explosion! They are all over the back glass we’re a tad of diatoms were, as well as front and side glass too. Both my clowns are fat and happy and have been picking them off the back glass all morning. All is well. Hoping to add a dragonette next month once I get a little more stable! Also want a nice big frogspawn to go with the torches. Thinking about moving the Duncan to the other side so the torches don’t sting it! Let me know what you think and any suggestions about the zoas or moving the Duncan!! Thanks in advance!
