Looking for feedback on a

quascape i am new to the hobby with no experience except youtube university. Looking for opinions took some photos of all sides .

Are those outer lines on the cardboard the inner dimensions of the tank? Just asking cause you want to make sure to have enough room to clean the glass.

I would also add an island or some more depth to this to allow for more coral choices.

You want to have different levels in your rock work to add different types of corals

ive got an 1.5 inch from the outside of the tank.is this enough room ? i plan on doing a mixed reef with no sand so i will plant stuff on the glass bed . but then again i have no idea what i am doing.this is all new to me but very excited.

So 1.5 inch is definitely large enough to get a magnetic cleaner through or a scraper.

If you are doing a mixed reef I would definitely add a couple more different height in there. Right now all I can see is that you have the top flat area and than the bottom. I dont really see anything in between. Try to see if you can add different height in between the top layer you have and the bottom of the tank to have more variety.
