From the description, it seems like a more thought out version of VSV (in regards to multiple carbon sources). NO3O4-X | Red Sea

I'm curious to know if it works.

Yes it does work but I had some issues with it. I starting getting a weird red cotton like algae. I contacted Redsea and they could not tell me the reason this was happening. I discontinued using and went back to vodka dosing and have not had anymore issues.

I'm dosing. Have been for 3? weeks or so to try and rid my GHA... The GHA started turning white so I upped my feeding... bad idea. Now the algae looks like it used to but is starting to turn brown.

I've never used po3, but po4 is awesome way better than fro. Just make sure you start with s 1/4 dose it's strong!!!!!!!!*

Have been using for about three months. I've noticed clearer water, cleaner sand bed and major shrinkage of the chaeto in my sump. It has shrunk to about a third. I dose a little less than the directions say - basically what my display tank volume is.

Anyone switch to biopellets after using NoPox/vodka - same principal - but the way I understand it, instead of the whole tank being the reactor, the same carbon loving bacteria are confined to a small area and skimmed out once they do their job (am I right on this?)

I've been using it for the past year. Works great for me. Keeps my nitrates and phosphates in check. I dose 10ml a day in a 150. If you over dose then you'll see the red slim witch is cyano bacteria.

vertex 150 skimmer
trigger 36 sump 23 gallons
2 kessils a360we lights.
did it take you a long time to get this under control

I don't have any Dino in my tank, I've heard horror story's tho. I would vacuum out as much as you can when you do water changes. You have a nice set up, just take your time without changing to much your water chemistry.

How would you determine if you are overdosing

I started dosing just to get my nitrates down, my system is pretty over stocked. I would test every two days till they went down to zero. And then I started lowering the dosage till I found the sweet spot. I use to do water changes every two weeks now I do it ones a month. My water parameters are always the same. I Love this product.
