Not even saying red sea because i own one, but deffinitly 100% do not go with cadlights. Their tanks are a setup for failure. Way way too many people that ive came across with a cadlights tank, resulted in massive water damage along with blown panes. Also never seen their cs respond to any claims

I think cadlights had a good reputation 6 - 7 years ago but went down hill after that.
I'd be scared of one now, no matter the price.

Great news I've had both (cadlights 70/ reefer 525xl). I'd go Red Sea. Tank quality is better. You do have to build the stand vs cadlights comes assembled so plus for cadlights. I like the build quailty and finish of the Red Sea stand better. The sumps are both pretty even in quality. Overall Red Sea is better. Both are solid tanks.

Worked at friend's LFS. Had a cadlight returned with bottom uneven; would not have known if it wasn't taken off the padding it came with. Red sea is what I have now and recommend.

Seems like Red Sea is the way to go. I was actually searching the forums earlier today and came to the conclusion their customer service is not the best and saw a few horror stories too.
