Red Sea Peninsula Placement?

Hi everyone. So up until last week I was set on getting a Red sea reefer 350, but now my wife saw a Peninsula 500 and fell in love with it. I'm still not convinced that the spot we want to put the tank is ideal spot so i'm looking for some suggestions on the placement. I have included 2 possible placement options. Option 1 will basically be facing our Formal Living room looking into our Dining Room Area (no furniture in both areas as yet). Option 2 is basically looking into our Kitchen from our Formal Dining Room or vice versa. We're leaning more towards option 1 but would love your opinions. I wish Red Sea would have a way to use AR to see a tank in place before buying it(at least to get an idea what i would look like).

The real answer here is that you need 2 tanks....

For a peninsula I would go with option 1. Option 2 doesn't really make sense for a peninsula (imo at least)

Not seeing the whole layout, I agree option 1 seems to be a better viewing location.
