Tank finished cycle in mid February with dry sand and dry rock...I had a small diatom bloom but now nothing, however my water has been "cloudy" the past few days. So I decided to do a full range water test using Red Sea test kits (none of which are expired).

When I did the Phosphate (PO4) test, the water in the test vial came back yellow, which matches nothing on the indicator wheel...anyone know what this could be mean for my phosphate levels? Did the test twice to confirm. Pics to come!

I have just 1 fish at the moment, a couple of snails and hermits, zero corals. Other readings are below:
Temp: 77F
Salinity: 1.025
Nitrite: 0
Ammonia: 0
pH: 8.2
Alkalinity: 4.6 (I know this is low...am going to try to retest with a different test kit)

Oh, before I forget, I do 10% water changes weekly using RODI water

Are you waiting the 15 minutes before reading the color? Mine starts that color but changes to the green

Shame on me ;Sorry...I thought I did wait, but just re-did the test with more patience and the color did change.

Thank you MattB!
