So bought the RO unit and following comments, on this forum added the DI pod, and produced the water. Was recommended to buy the Red Sea Pro and having read the instructions I’m wondering if I’m over thinking? My plan is to mix the salt, using a small power head, at a temperature of 20 degrees for circa 2 hours by which time salt should have completely dissolved (Red Sea video seems to suggest this timescale)...and once dissolved only increase temperature to 25 degrees just before I’m doing the water change to avoid precipitation of key elements. Am I over thinking this?

Yes.
but sometimes, especially the 1st time better to overthink than go in without forethought.
You have the right plan. Go ahead and stick with it. Next time and all the times after that you will be on autopilot.

Add the salt with water and pump at room temperature, once the water is at your desired parameters then add heat prior to water change to get it up to tank temp.

Sometimes, I put my salt in a large net at the top of the barrel and swirl that around to quickly dissolve the salt instead of having a large pile of salt on the bottom of the barrel. Sometimes I just dump it in.

It's also good to check salinity and on new batches of salt mix and Alk, Calcium, & Magnesium.
