The answer to most of your questions is... different people do different things.

• Do you change directions through out the day like a tide? No, but that's a fun idea to play with.
• What power levels do you max at? Just below whatever will stir up my sand.
• Do you lower power level at night? Yes

Its a cool app. Can be programed each hour of the day. Maybe run one direction in the morn, slow down and change directions in the afternoon like a tide. Maybe turn the flow up in the afternoon. Slow it down a little in the evening and night. Change directions and start the next day again. ???? Or just blow it off and set it and forget it idk?

I run a reefwave 25 along with 2 nero5’s. I fiddled with the orientation of the blades to eliminate any water surface agitation they are pointed towards the front lower section of my tank. I have 6 different profiles programmed for my 24 hour span. Also Reverse is a lot more gentle than you would think. So on all my profiles I set reverse to 100% max, during the day I run 50% max and at night it’s dialed down to 10% (keep in mind I do have larger grain sand that doesn’t blow around as easy)
