Anyone know if this can be used sporadically without any issues? I have some and it says to does daily. I was wanting to use it occasionally as a supplement but not on a daily basis. Are there any issues with only using it occasionally and not religiously?

You can use it whenever you want, I always dosed daily, then dropped to every other day and now just add it probably twice per week. Didn’t seem to make any difference at all. It might do if your running with very low nutrients as the corals may need more food

I’ve started using Reef Roids once a week as well.

I mixed it evenly in a voss bottle to dose. Today I picked up the bottle and noticed there were particles that settled on the bottom. Anyone notice the same thing and is it still good to dose?

I dose 2ml of each once every 2 days for my 40g reef. I found if I dosed anymore then 2ml it would cause small amounts of algae to grow. Typically your not supposed to mix the two parts together, especially if it's going to be sitting around and not used immediately. The Part A does have some particles in it that are normal. The corals love this stuff and have really helped my once nutrient deprived tank and I believe this stuff helped stop the tissue recession on my hammers....

I dose every day as I am using Nopox. I mix together right before I put in tank which is ok. I usually use right before I feed my fish. Seems to be working out fine.

You can use them sparingly and don't have to use them every day, Red Sea recommends daily use to try to keep a recommended concentration in the water column.

You can mix them together right before you use them, but I have had chats with a Red Sea rep who says that they cannot be mixed and stored long term for dosing via doser (also as they are supposed to be kept chilled) as they will react and sour (he said <10 min is the recommended if you are going to mix and feed, but he did not remember what the actual start time of spoiling was).

Your supposed to keep them chilled after opening them?

Any idea how quick they spoil? I opened it up last night. I will put it in the fridge when I get home tonight if it hasn’t gone bad
if it smells fine it should be okay.

but ya on the box it says to refrigerate after opening

They can stay out over night, when I was chatting with the rep, he said that assuming a house temp of 72F you can get up to a week if you wanted to dose via doser (can't be mixed though) but it isn't recommended.
