Can anyone give me their thoughts on the following test kit?

Red Sea Reef Foundation Pro Multi Test Kit
Red Sea Reef Foundation Pro Multi Test Kit (Ca, KH, Mg) - English

I like the idea that I wouldn't have to pay for the full kit again and can just buy the reagent refills. I have been using API for the last few years but would move to this if it is a good kit.

I received the alk test in a raffle, it's ok. If you're fine with the API kit then this kit will be a fine replacement. My friends use the API kit, theirs reads a little higher than the Red Sea one. I purchased a Hanna checker, it seems to read more towards the Red Sea than the API kit.

These are great test kits, much more precise than API (which are OK). I also use the Red Sea Algae Mgmt for No3 / Po4, and like it as well.

The refillable reagents are just a bonus.

BRS has them on sale right now about $5 off.

Both calcium and alk are accurate. However, the results from magnesium are typically questionable.

I doubt you wouldn't want to buy the whole kit. I'm about half way thru mine and the numbers have already warn off the syringes. I've been very delicate with them so just something to thing about. Other then that a great package deal.
