Has anyone ued these yet? I’m buying the Red Sea s1000. I can’t tell if the sumps has been improved to remove the sock tray and ad the reef mat? Also I was wondering about how long the rolls last? I know there will be some variance between peoples tanks. I just would like to here your size tank and how long a roll last? Am I going to be buying a $30 roll twice a month or once every two months. It could be a deal breaker. Any good or bad would be appreciated

I have mine on preorder but it hasn't shipped yet.. I ordered it on Jan 7th, hoping it will ship soon!

I actually saw a Reefmat 500 in my LFS today. Apparently the Red Sea dealers have all been sent an example for installation on their RedSea display tanks. It's quite chunky and certainly looks well made. No word on operation as yet but initial impressions are good.

FWIW, I ordered two of the Reef Mat 1200's from saltwateraquarium and they responded saying they are hoping for a mid April delivery.
