Has anyone ued these yet? I’m buying the Red Sea s1000. I can’t tell if the sumps has been improved to remove the sock tray and ad the reef mat? Also I was wondering about how long the rolls last? I know there will be some variance between peoples tanks. I just would like to here your size tank and how long a roll last? Am I going to be buying a $30 roll twice a month or once every two months. It could be a deal breaker. Any good or bad would be appreciated

I still did not see anyone owning a unit yet, I would wait for some time before getting my own to see what others think.

I don't have the roller but I do have an S1000 and yes, the sock trays are removable and I assume it would fit in the section but I'd have to agree on the wait and see.
Sea worthy aquatics do u think you can hook me up with the inside dimension so I can start my aqua scape accounting for the euro brace?

Roll use will obviously be highly dependent on debris in the water. An established tank with no previous mechanical filtration (socks or another brand of roller) will use the first 1 or 2 rolls quite quickly. Once this has cleared or with a relatively new tank then roll use will be much more reasonable. Something I am interested in is how flow rate will affect use. I know that the roll advance settings have some level of customisation within the App but I don't think the sensor height can be adjusted. I run quite a fast turnover, probably 7-8 times an hour and I'm sure this will create a higher level than a slower flow for an equivalent amoubt of debris.
