Red sea reef mature food

Hi quick question do I feed my fish on day 14 of Red Sea reef mature starter kit because on their video it’s says a small piece of food is not good. I’m confused

Ammonia is at 0 and nitrite 0
Juste asking because the there video it said only a small peace of food is way more than the system can handle

but u need to feed the fish, so feed the fish, the video is probably only talking about fishes cycling, and I need nitrates, not nitrites
