Red Sea Reef Mature?

I'm just starting cycling my tank, and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this kit? I saw it on BRS 52 weeks series. I'm just wary because it calls for livestock in 14 days! Is that right? I don't want to harm anything in the cycling. I've done so much reading on how to cycle a tank correctly and now I'm more confused than ever. Any insights or suggestions? I really want to do this tank right. Thanks!

If you're into the BRS videos, I'd suggest watching the newer ULM series video on cycling. I just started another system and am following the ULM method just for cycling. They suggest Dr. Tims for bacteria in that video.

I did a bit of over kill so its tough to say how effective the Red Sea Mature kit was...

I started by seeding my dry rock. I had it in a brute trash can that I dosed with BioSpira and used Dr Tims ammonia to feed occasionally and let it churn for about 30 days prior to putting it in the tank with Live Sand.

Once the live sand, seeded rock, and RODI were up and running I began the REd Sea Mature kit.

I had a bacteria bloom on day 3 but after that everything mellowed out. I was constantly having higher than average nitrate levels but everything else was in line with their program.

I added the fish on day 14 and had no problem at all.
