Hi All,
I am about to plumb the Red Sea Reefer 170 I purchased ages ago, remodel took forever and a day so finally able to set this little nano up. The instructions are all pictures and I am a little confused. First off, do you have to put plumbers tape on all the fittings or no? Usually I do this, but there are no indications that one should add plumbers tape from the instruction pictures. Second, Is there anywhere that has better instructions? I also want to bypass their ATO system and install the Tunze ATO 3152, I will eventually get a side cabinet to put the Tunze in with a separate ATO reservoir. I am a little confused about the set-up when bypassing the ATO in the sump. I have gone through massive amounts of pages on the big Red Sea thread and there is so much information for all of the different sized Red Sea Tanks that it has been hard to narrow down any setup info for the RS 170.
Any help is appreciated
