This tank is a down size from previous 80 cube. Since this is in my sewing room the 80 g was too large and way too muggy. I used the water from that tank to start this one but I purchased Reel Reef Rock from Pacific East Aquaculture that was from their baby clownfish tank , over nighted, because I didn't want to start the uglies cycle. Seemed to have worked. It was very easy to carve caves into it and break away what I didn't want. I decided on the previous set up to put all Ecotech products with the Reeflink, not to have everything in one spot in case of malfunction. Everything else is controlled by the new Apex. I have 2 DOS and another Trigger ATO Reservoir depending on what way I decide to go moving forward. From the last tank I still have Triton for other methods. Red Sea also sent their line to me because of the shipping headache. So far I haven't had to dose anything, using TM Pro salt. The rock on the right will probably have an OG Purple Monster and a few other SPS, I'll see how that goes. Mp10s were placed on the sides since it provided a better flow. All electronics are behind the tank with enough room to get back there when needed, either mounted on wall board or placed on floor shelf. I won't use wire wrap or routing, when you need to get to something it's not easy, this way I can unplug and pull it out, another lesson from the last tank. Probes are in sump using Neptune probe rack, Smart ATO is in return section of sump. Tunze fan used during hot months along with a ceiling fan and AC, CA desert gets hot. PH scrubber in line with skimmer.
