Red Sea reefer 250 DIAL

Help…
I can’t seem to find the correct water height in the overflow box, I’m fighting with the dial, the skimmer and the ATO, all changing at once. Any suggestions

1. Turn the skimmer and ATO off.
2. Set the desired speed for your pump.
3. Open the gate valve all the way, then slowly (ie: 1/4" increments) close it - waiting 20-30 seconds between adjustments.
4. When the water in the overflow box reaches the edge or close to the emergency overflow - stop. You may have to fine-tune this slightly open or closed again.
5. Turn your skimmer and ATO back on.
