Hello all,

I’ve been brainstorming this for awhile and I wanted to see what my fellow reefers think.

As the title suggests, I have a reefer 250. I wanted to put 2 mp10s on the back glass and use that as my primary flow. After talking with Ecotech and a few LFS the tank glass was too thick. I wasn’t willing to spent $300 for a test. So I have a single mp40 on the left side of the tank.

Now to my conundrum, I have noticed detritus building up in the corners next to the overflow. Could and/or should I add some flow back there? I could get another mp40 and attach to the back but that might be over kill. Another option is to put 2 tunze nanostream 6055 since they are reliable and on sale.

Thank you for any advise!!

I had a MP10 and MP40 on the back wall of my Reefer 350. I replaced the MP10 with a Nero 5. The Nero was an improvement on the MP10 but I still have dead spot around the rocks so I added a Gyre on the side.

For you, I'd recommend the Nero 5 since you can angle it slight making it a little better if mounted in the back wall.

Thanks for the recommendation! Can the Nero be controlled with a variable 0-10v like the tunze 6055?

Any issues with the MP10 not holding on the back glass? Considering putting 2 MP10s on the back glass with 2 MP10s on each side of an upcoming Reefer 350 build.
