Hello, I’ve had this tank for about 3 weeks now and I’m still trying to figure out the perfect water level? Any one else figure this out? Where should the water line be in the over flow box?

Following, I also set up the same tank recently.
I keep the water line so that the main drain pipe is under the water line completely. This eliminates noise as it should, however I have read others on here saying the water level should be specifically directly below the height of the emergency drain. In the manual it does not specify the level, only that is should be high enough that the main drain is under full siphon

I always set it about 1/2" below the emergency pipe, and set the emergency pipe about the same height as the bottom of the overflow teeth. You want the water to fall into the overflow a little bit so that it will still surface skim, but if it falls too much it will make noise.

Do you have a picture of your overflow?

Mine always stays equal to the over flow. I tried setting it just below and it always ends up dropping way down over some weeks.

Tried to throw in the tape measure to help show water height from top of main drain pipe

I've never been able to have mine stay consistent at that level for some reason.
I have been wondering if it should be higher as others have mentioned to be closer the the top edge of the emergency drain, or if it evens matters at all as long as it is above the main

Yours looks like proper setting but if I set mine like that day or two later the water level is way down for some reason. I have to stay high using the over flow.

Mine stays like this
