Red Sea reefer 250 - Mixed reef!

A fish store sent me the wrong fishes..
I ordered Springeri Damsels but I got blue devils.. they live in my sump for now.

My first water change since I did the tank transfer. Changed about 11 gallons, mainly to vaccum the rockwork and remove some cyano that has started to grow.
Tank is still cloudy now but everything seems to be opening up and look happy. :)

Removed my Xenia rock well over two weeks ago, and guess what I found under a rock today..

The reefer moving along. Only issue is some Cyano after dosing Vibrant against bubble algae.

How to mitigate the splashing sound of water running down the filtersocks, stuff them with filter floss! :)

First real issue since setting up the reefer 250. Got some patches of Cyano going on, ignored them for the longest time but they are spreading more now so just stable params doesnt seem to reduce the spread. Gonna go the chemical warfare route with red slime remover if it doesnt settle down the next weeks.

Heat is ramping here, tank on standby for the summer, just maintaining right now.

Got some Cyano around the tank, but other then that corals are growing steadily.
I lost both of my freshwater mollies, they lived longer then expected so I am not too upset. I havent done a water change in the longest time, might change 25% tomorrow to syphon some Cyano while at it!

Just got done treating my tank with Cyano RX and it worked wonders! In the shots I just poured 25% new saltwater into the tank as the instructions said, that, along with dim evening lights make the tank look hazy. But most importantly, not a single speck of Cyano!

Wow, those corals really grew in quickly! Tank looks great.

I'm just now starting up a Reefer 250. Anything you'd have done differently?
