Hello All...
Was curious if anyone on here has ditched there sump on there Reefer 250's and extended their returns and drain lines down somewhere else??? So the Return up I bought the 3/4 Inch adapter from Red Sea upgarded from 5/8, and am using 3/4 Inch Tubing with my Neptune Cor2o Pump. The Middle Pipe is 25mm PVC which is the Emergency Return drain and the main Drain is 32mm pvc... My plan is to remove the small sump from under my display, and run a sump in my basement right below where my tank is. The Basement area is actually a 4 foot crawl space, so the area where the sump will be is no more than 7-10 feet away from tank going down max.

So how would I convert the Metric pvc to american??? What fittings would I need???

Honestly, I am just looking for a fitting that can cleanly continue the PVC going down from overflow box and down into my basement.
Was curious if anyone on R2R has done this with a Reefer 250? Can't find anyone on YouTube that has modded the Returns....

This is how it came out :

Steve, where did you get the adapter to change the return line to 3/4? i cant find anything like that on Red Seas site. and I'd love to change that 5/8 line out.

I have an extra part somewhere , the Red Sea one. I ordered an extra and never used it. It’s the 5/8 to 3/4 barb fitting..... PM me if you need...

FYI I converted all three lines , the return line and emergency are 3/4 and the drain line is one inch...
