Red Sea Reefer 250 Return - 4 return nozzles

Wanted to know if anyone has tried to connect 2 Y nozzles onto the original Y nozzle that comes stock with the reefer 250? This would then give me 4 nozzles where I can direct flow throughout the tank. I have a neptune core15 pump. Looking for a cheap way to add more flow to my tank without spending more money on powerheads.

I just added this piece by Vivid Creative Aquatics to my 250 and I'm really happy with it. I don't see why you couldn't add two more Y's and two more flow directors. But I'm not an expert on plumbing so maybe someone else can chime in about the water pressure stuff.

That might mean it requires a more-than-usual powerful return pump (not familiar with that pump you have to know). It might be a moot point because it might decrease the flow enough to be pointless in creating flow... meaning it might be better to just have one or two return nozzles and create more flow by powerheads/wavemakers vs with the return pump. Does that make sense? Hopefully someone else can answer this.

Yes, so I have the same random flow Y adapter. I have my cor15 pump at 35%. So was planning on taking the reefer 250 adapter which splits the flow into 2 (17% individual flows), then purchasing another random flow Y adapter by vivid creative and turning up my Cor15 pump to 70%. So in theory I would still have 17% coming out of each nozzle. I just have never seen this done before and was wondering Y
