Red Sea Reefer 350 defective stand?

I've finally gotten around to putting my RSR 350 together and noticed something troubling after test filling it, the aquarium does not make full contact with the stand! A little bit of googling reveals this to be a common enough occurance to receive multiple hits on different forums with people talking about this issue. I already checked to see if it was level, which it was.

I've been in contact with red sea about it and they're giving me a runaround asking me to check if it's level (which I of course did), in this case the issue seems to be that the preinstalled foam padding has been crushed on the ends.

Here's a video showing how easy it is to slide a card underneath the aquarium. I've since emptied it, having 350 liters of water with the corners unsupported makes me nervous.

Is my Red Sea Reefer XL 425 safe to fill? Serious concern.

I'm not exactly new, but I've been away for three years... The reason for that was that a new 150g tank I just set up cracked three days after filling, and destroyed my freshly remodeled basement, and new hardwood floor. After that, I just couldn't bring myself to start over. Now I'm back, but...

Mine is the same but it's now out of warranty so I'm going to live with it. I think it's an issue caused by the floating front pane. I'm thinking of building a new stand to fully support the tank

Yeah it's clear with the 750xl fiasco that red sea tanks are good but the stands are kinda ****

Kinda **** is an understatement. That's like saying Ikea furniture is kinda good quality. Which is sad since I like the tank, since I own 3 red sea tanks. I want to build a better stand but my woodworking skills are not very good and I don't have the tools to do a good job.

I realise i have the same issue as well. But its because during my shipment, i placed the main tank with the styrofoam and cardboard wrappings on a built cabinet. So when i removed the said styrofoam, the foam had sunked in as well.

I dont believe its a manufacturing defect. Lucky for me i have not filled the tank with water, so i am probably going to paste 2 strips of foam tape to compensate.
